Dr. Lauren Dean always knew she wanted to have a job working with children. During her junior year of high school, she heard a dentist speak on a job panel and loved what he had to say. She went home that very day and proclaimed to her family that she was going to be a pediatric dentist. And the rest is history!

Dr. Dean is a Homewood, Alabama native. She graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Spanish Language from Birmingham-Southern College. She continued her studies at the University of Alabama at Birmingham where she received her dental degree and specialty training in pediatric dentistry. During her residency, she was trained in caring for children of all ages as well as patients with special healthcare needs.
